If you also use Acer laptop, then there is big news for you. Hackers have broken into the servers of Acer India. In this hacking, data of millions of customers have been leaked. Taiwanese company Acer has also confirmed this data leak. In this data leak, the login details of distributors and retailers of Acer India have also been stolen. In this data leak, hackers have got 60 GB data. 


 The hacker has also posted a video on the hackers forum as evidence of this data leak. This data leak includes data of 10,000 customers. Apart from this, data of 3,000 distributors and retailers are also included in this leak. A group named Desorden has taken responsibility for this hacking.

 This is not the first time that Acer has fallen victim to hacking. Earlier in March this year also, there was a cyber attack on the company. In March, Acer was hit by the REvil ransomware attack in which the company's bank details and bank balance information were leaked. The hacker has demanded $50 million in ransom for the return of the stolen data, although Acer has not yet confirmed whether it will pay the ransom amount to the hacker.

 Recently, a report by Google has come out in which it has been claimed that India is slowly becoming a stronghold of ransomware attacks. Google has shared data for the last one and a half years, in which more than 80 million ransomware attack samples have been analyzed. Based on this data, India has been placed at 6th position in the list of 140 countries in terms of ransomware attacks.
